InTouchLink was founded in response to a growing need for a system that helped seniors and other users have easy access to the world of email, internet and computers. InTouchLink built a team composed of industry veterans and technology gurus. The result is a powerful, but incredibly easy-to-use system that is equally helpful to retirement homes, independent seniors and others who may have not used a computer before.
The InTouchLink system has been custom developed and has various patent applications for its groundbreaking treatment of the problems facing seniors and computers. In conjunction with leading technology providers, ITL has confirmed capacity for virtually unlimited users. With multiple load balancers, failsafe systems, and servers located across the world, ITL has engineered fault tolerance and seamless provision of services.
Dr Vernon Lun leads our development team in general and has specific responsibility for the core programming group. In his 25 years of software experience, Dr Lun has founded a number of IT companies and has held positions in global companies ranging from Senior Software Engineer to Chief Technology Officer.
Dr Lun holds B.Sc., M.Sc and Ph.D. degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
Anthony Lee manages the ITL infrastructure team. Anthony brings over 25 years of server and programming experience to the ITL group. Having held positions in such global powerhouses as Siemens, De Beers and Honeywell among others, Anthony has a varied wealth of knowledge and practical experience.
Anthony holds a B.Sc (Honours) degree in Computer Science from the University of Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Dr Alexander Werner leads our database team. Dr Werner, a prolific technical editor and writer, has almost 30 years of advanced database experience and has designed extensive data management solutions for a multitude of clients. Dr Werner has specific experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare data industry and data collection structures.
Dr Werner holds an M.Sc and Ph.D. in Computer Science and completed his thesis in Modelling Complex-Structural Information in Relational Databases.
Dr Steven Meyer leads our hardware team. Dr Meyer is an Electrical Engineer with over 2 decades of experience in software development, testing, design, architecture and management. He has held senior positions in the management and development of a wide range of Internet-based technologies, including remote access products, hand-held PDA software, video surveillance cameras and healthcare imaging, auditing and privacy and security products.
Dr Meyer holds a Ph.D. from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa where he researched Distributed Computer Control Systems.
