North America’s Leading All-In-One LTC Technology Solution
Although the use of technology in the Senior Living sector is a necessity, it has increasingly become a burden. Technology can be time-consuming and inefficient, and there is a demand for simple one-stop solutions. Studies have found that deficiencies in communication between management and staff as well as the community and its residents have been recognized in 94% of communities. InTouchLink strives to provide senior living communities with the tools to increase communication between all parties, train employees efficiently and improve overall operational effectiveness. In order to prove that a robust and comprehensive software platform can deliver the aforementioned benefits, a study was conducted with focus groups in 11 retirement communities and 18 long term care homes across North America.
Participants were asked to complete a survey before and after the implementation of InTouchLink. The survey showed that prior to the introduction of InTouchLink, 88% of residents and families were extremely dissatisfied with communication and viewed this as the most significant factor in their overall experience with the community. After the implementation of InTouchLink, satisfaction improved dramatically. 62% of respondents rated communication as very good or better and 52% noted a marked improvement in communication amongst staff and residents and their families. Staff spent less time on the management of daily resident requests and resident families were extremely satisfied with the remote access capabilities of the software. In conclusion, the implementation of an all-in-one technological platform has the ability to greatly influence a community’s capacity to manage multiple functions efficiently, successfully retain staff and residents, and improve overall effectiveness.
